PRIVACY & SECURITY

Control begins
with clear
decisions.

Self-custody puts key management and transaction approval in your hands. Review the networks and applications you use; decentralization does not remove every risk.

YOUR KEYS, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Recovery is yours
to protect.

Unstoppable does not hold your private keys or recovery information and cannot restore it if lost. Store backups securely, privately, and away from people or services asking to see them.

Support will never need your recovery information. Keep it private, confirm your own backup status, and never enter it into an untrusted screen.

TRANSACTION & CONNECTION SAFETY

Know what you
are approving.

Using decentralized applications starts with your approval. Review each request, its network and the permissions it asks for.

TRANSACTION REQUEST

Read the complete request

Confirm destination, network, amount and fees before approving.

APPLICATION CONNECTION

Keep only useful sessions

Review connected applications and disconnect those you no longer use.

PRIVACY CONTEXT

Understand what may be visible

Public networks and third-party services can expose different transaction and connection data.

SAFE-USE CHECKLIST

Pause. Verify. Then approve.

  1. Verify the destination

Check the complete address before sending, not only its first or last characters.

  2. Review the transaction

Confirm the asset, network, amount, destination and network fee before approval.

  3. Protect recovery information

Keep it private. Never share a recovery phrase with support or anyone claiming to help.

  4. Question impersonation

Beware of urgent messages, unsolicited support and requests for wallet access.

  5. Verify software sources

Confirm where software came from before installing or updating it.

  6. Review connections

Inspect connected applications and remove sessions you no longer need.

OPEN-SOURCE TRANSPARENCY

Trust should
be inspectable.

The Unstoppable mobile projects publish their source code for public review. Open source supports scrutiny; it is not a guarantee against bugs, user error, malicious software, or blockchain risk.

Source-code availability applies to the linked mobile projects. A separate desktop repository and desktop-specific security architecture are not verified here.

Public code

Source can be examined, discussed and scrutinized by the public.

Self-custody

Users retain responsibility for keys, recovery information and transaction approval.

Local control

Important wallet decisions remain with the person operating the wallet.

Inspectable software

Transparency creates an opportunity for review, not a promise of perfect software.
